Billed as “The World’s Greatest Cornetist”, Jules Levy toured widely. He also composed music that showcased his virtuosity.
Levy tested equipment for Conn. He also helped Thomas Edison demonstrate the technology of his tin foil phonograph. His son, Jules Levy Jr., was also a successful cornetist who recorded widely.
