Studied at conservatory in Puerto Rico, City University of New York. Played lead trumpet for Eddie Palmieri (1984–92) and Dizzy Gillespie’s United Nation Orchestra. Worked with Ray Barretto, Tito Puente, Johnny Pacheco, and the Fania All Stars. Led The Turnaround.
